My Flower Shop Building Guide

Use building mode in My Flower Shop to add, move, or remove structures, protect access paths, shorten work routes, and test a practical store layout.

Plan the route before entering building mode

The official description confirms that players can upgrade and decorate the flower shop and garden. Current gameplay walkthroughs also show interest in adding and removing buildings and in store layout. Before changing anything, trace the normal route from garden to harvested stock, craft table, finished products, customer area, and any staff destination.

Decide what the edit should accomplish: shorter travel, more usable capacity, a clearer customer path, a reachable staff route, or a visual theme. More floor space is not automatically better. Empty distance can slow both players and employees.

Learn the live building controls safely

Open the current building interface and identify select, place, move, rotate, confirm, cancel, and remove controls if they are present. The exact labels and device inputs can change. Select a low-risk movable item first and practice canceling before editing a critical structure.

Read every cost and warning. The available public information does not establish purchase costs, placement limits, removal refunds, storage behavior, or whether every building can be moved. Do not confirm removal until the live panel explains the result.

Make one change, save or confirm, exit building mode, and test normal interactions. This prevents several overlapping edits from hiding which placement caused a problem.

Build compact production zones

Place connected actions close enough to reduce travel while leaving interaction space. Garden access should lead naturally to material handling. The craft table should connect to its input storage and finished-product destination. Customer displays or sales points should remain accessible without crossing staff paths unnecessarily.

Wide turns and unobstructed doorways

Test the route on your normal device. Touch controls need forgiving space, while a mouse-and-keyboard route may tolerate tighter placement. Avoid decoration that overlaps prompts or creates narrow corridors.

Add a building with a defined purpose

Before purchasing or placing an additional structure, decide which working zone it will hold and how goods or characters will move between buildings. Put required stations first, verify interaction and paths, then decorate. A new room with no assigned function increases travel without increasing completed sales.

Check entrances from both sides. Walk the full seed-to-sale route and observe staff or customers if those systems are active. If one transition creates a long detour, adjust the connection before filling the room.

Keep the next production cycle funded. A large building purchase should not leave every garden plot empty. Compare the expansion with rearranging existing space or buying a smaller upgrade.

Move or remove structures without losing the workflow

For a move, confirm the destination is valid and reachable before finalizing. Exit building mode and interact with the object from normal play. Check adjacent stations as well; moving one large object can block another prompt.

For removal, read the live confirmation carefully. It may sell, store, delete, or otherwise handle the object, and the refund rule is not publicly documented. Record the current cost and warning. Do not test removal on an irreplaceable or required workstation.

If a placement becomes stuck, cancel before confirming when possible. If saved, use the current move or remove option and make one correction. Rejoin only after noting whether the layout saved, then inspect ownership and balances before repeating a purchase.

Test staff and customers after every major edit

Watch one complete cycle. Staff need valid work, supplies, destinations, and a reachable path. Customers need access to the current sale flow. A player being able to squeeze through does not prove non-player characters will navigate it reliably.

If a worker loops, simplify turns, widen doorways, and remove decoration near the source and destination. If customers wait with stock available, inspect access and transaction placement. If your own walking increases, move connected stations back together.

Only add more capacity after the new layout works. Solving access first is cheaper than hiring or upgrading around a path problem.

Building FAQ

How do I add a building?

Open the live building interface, choose an available structure, read the cost and requirement, place it with clear access, confirm once, exit the mode, and test the full route.

Can I remove buildings?

Current walkthrough coverage demonstrates a removal workflow, but its refund and storage rules are not publicly established. Read the live warning before confirming.

What is the best store layout?

There is no universal layout. Keep connected stations close, customer and staff paths clear, and only add space with a defined purpose.

Do decorations help profit?

Treat them as visual unless the current item description explicitly states a mechanical effect. A cozy store is a valid design goal on its own.

Why did staff stop after I rebuilt?

Check assignments, supplies, output space, doorways, turns, and interaction zones. Restore a simpler open route and test one cycle before changing anything else.
