My Flower Shop Beginner Guide

A step-by-step My Flower Shop beginner guide for planting, harvesting, crafting, selling, staff, upgrades, offline growth, and daily rewards.

The first goal: complete one seed-to-sale cycle

Your first useful milestone in My Flower Shop is not a large store or a particular balance. It is one complete cycle: plant an available seed, wait for the flower to grow, harvest it, use or reserve part of the harvest for crafting, and complete a sale to a customer. The official game description confirms each part of that loop, including bouquets and floral arrangements, offline growth, staff, upgrades, decoration, and daily streaks.

Follow the tutorial prompts shown by the current server. Button names, unlock order, starting resources, and prices are not publicly documented and can change. When the tutorial gives you a choice, pick an affordable available option and observe where the resulting item goes. Do not copy a number or menu position from an older video if your screen differs.

Walk the shop before spending

Identify four working zones: the garden or planting area, the place where harvested flowers are stored or handled, the crafting workstation, and the customer-facing sales area. Find the normal path between them. This short tour prevents you from buying capacity for a station you have not yet learned to use.

Check your visible cash and any second currency, but do not assume the second balance is formally called gems or diamonds until the current interface labels it. Keep enough ordinary currency for another planting cycle. A decoration or upgrade can wait; an empty garden cannot produce stock.

If the game presents a daily reward, read the displayed item before claiming and note whether the official group-related 2X offer appears. The public description does not publish the reward calendar or multiplier scope, so use the Daily Rewards guide for a careful check.

Plant, grow, and harvest cleanly

Plant plots in a consistent order so you can read their state quickly. Start with the amount your available funds, storage, and attention can support. More planted plots are useful only when you can harvest and process their output.

While the crop grows, learn another part of the shop rather than waiting beside the timer. Check the customer area, crafting options, or improvement panels without purchasing. When a flower is ready, make sure inventory has room, interact once, and confirm the flower moved out of the plot. Replant when you can fund the next cycle.

Before leaving the game, plant supported plots. Offline flower growth is officially confirmed, but the maximum offline period and per-flower behavior are not public. Record one visible timer before logging off and compare it when you return.

Craft and sell without starving either side

Reserve only the materials needed for a recipe you can actually start. Approach the craft table or current workstation, open the recipe selector, and compare the required flowers with inventory. Start one craft, wait for the interface to confirm it, then collect the finished product and move it into the sale flow shown by your version.

Keep some raw flowers available when direct customer sales are active. Turning everything into arrangements can leave displays empty; selling everything raw can leave the craft table idle. Adjust after watching which stock runs out first.

For a money comparison, count every seed, flower, craft timer, output, and completed sale. A finished bouquet having a larger price does not prove it earns more per material or minute. The Crafting Guide and Money Guide show how to test one clean cycle.

Hire and upgrade after finding the bottleneck

The developer confirms staff and shop upgrades, but not a universal best order. Watch the loop. If you constantly leave production to handle a simple repeated task, staff may help. If storage, garden, crafting, customer service, or another capacity is full, a permanent upgrade may help. If walking consumes the session, rearrange the building before buying more space.

Read the displayed cost and effect, keep the next planting cycle funded, and change one thing at a time. After purchasing, repeat the same loop and check whether the wait shortened. A worker needs valid work, supplies, output space, and a reachable route; an idle worker is not automatically a bug.

Treat decoration as appearance unless its live description states a mechanical effect. Creating a cozy shop is one of the official goals, but visual purchases should not be described as profit boosts without evidence.

The next cycle is already funded

Recover from early problems

If you have no cash, stop spending and inspect ready plots, finished crafts, stock waiting to be placed, and incomplete customer transactions. If planting fails, make sure you selected an available seed and finished the interaction. If crafting fails, verify every ingredient, output space, and recipe lock. If customers ignore stock, confirm it is in a valid sale position with a reachable path.

When an interface stops responding, wait for the current action, note the displayed state, and reconnect once through the official experience. Check whether the transaction or production persisted before repeating it. Avoid repeated clicks around purchases.

If progression feels slow, identify the idle stage rather than chasing a “fastest” claim. Keep every current plot planted, use offline growth, collect finished output, and improve the station where work waits.

Beginner FAQ

What should I buy first?

Buy only what the tutorial requires or what removes the measured bottleneck while leaving enough money to replant. No universal first purchase is verified.

Do flowers grow while I am offline?

Yes, offline growth is stated by the developer. The cap and exact timer behavior need to be checked for the plant and version you use.

Should I sell flowers or craft bouquets?

Do both in a controlled split. Reserve materials for one supported craft, keep direct stock available, and compare completed returns from the same update.

When should I hire staff?

After one manual loop works and a repeated task clearly steals time from another productive action. Prepare supplies, destinations, and open paths first.

Where do I go after this guide?

Open Flowers for garden planning, Crafting for arrangements, Economy for spending, Staff for automation, and Upgrades for permanent improvements and layout.
